Children’s Programs

April 2nd – Read with Roger, the therapy dog. Schedule an appt. between 2:30 & 4:30. Call 615-575-0508.
Lapsit – Friday mornings at 10:30am (for infants & toddlers ages 2 and under)
This program is for infants and toddlers ages 2 & under and their caregivers (older siblings are allowed to attend/participate when necessary).

The program lasts around 30 minutes. It includes books/stories, lots of songs, nursery rhymes, and fingerplays.

Hooks & Needles Club: April 5th, 12th, 19th, & 26th 10:30am Fiber Arts group for ages 10 & up

SPECIAL Tea Time: April 12th 10:30-12:30 Enjoy a very special floral arranging demonstration followed by the usual teatime fun! Junk Journaling on tea stained paper will be available for kids and teens during this event!
Plant & Seed Swap: Saturday, April 26th 9:30-12:30 Join us for our Spring Plant & Seed Swap! Bring plants to trade with new friends, plus we’ll have lots of seeds to share. There will also be a special storytime for families at 11:30.

Seed Library: Come pick out some seeds for your garden! See Operations Manager for seeds.
Teen Programs for middle & high schoolers (Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:00 pm)​

Come prepared with tricks, pranks, or jokes for your fellow teens make sure anything you plan is: Harmless-Not causing or capable of causing harm; Safe-Free from danger or the risk of harm; Innocuous-Lacking intent or capacity to injure; Nonthreatening- Not a threat; Innocent-Lacking intent or capacity to injure; Beneficial/ Benign-Pleasant and beneficial in nature/influence or Inoffensive-Not offensive.

04/10/25 – What Did I Just See? - Try out some of the optical illusions/find it puzzle we have and discover just how tricky it can be for your brain to accurately interpret the images from your eyes. Do you have anything that is an optical illusion you would like to share?
04/17/25 – Zen-tangle- Today we are going to relax, enhance our artistic skills and produce fun art that paves the way to create beautiful images with structured patterns. Zen-tangle provides you with a joyful way of self-expression, one pen stroke at a time.
04/24/25 – Game Day - Today’s games could be: video; board; card; virtual; fantasy . . . choose which game & friends you want to game with!
Dungeons & Dragons: Friday, April 4th 3:30-5:00 & 18th 11:00-1:00 Join us for our D&D group! Both teens and college ages are welcome!

NEW! Young Yarners Hooks & Needles Club: Saturdays @ 10:30: Ages 10-18 welcome regardless of skill level. Bring a hook & yarn!

ADULT PROGRAMS
Bingo: Every Tuesday at 1:00 PM
Join in on the fun of friendly competition as Ms. Vicki calls out the numbers, and the race is on to yell out "BINGO." Prizes awarded to winners.
Veteran's Representative: Wednesday, April 2nd from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in a study room
A rep from the Sumner County Veteran's Service Office will be available to help any veteran or veteran's spouse with questions or filling out forms. No appointment necessary. First come, first serve basis.
Genealogy Club: April 5th @10am
Our 99th Genealogy Club Mtg will be on Sat. April 5th, 2025 at 10am. We’ll be looking at how to do research on familysearch.org using "experimental labs full text" and "The Robertson County Times of Family Search" by Joe Swann.
Page Turners Book Club: Thursday, April 17th at 11:30 AM
